Taking its inspiration from the world-famous painting, “The Promise” by Lee Bogle, and in tribute to Native-American culture, “Seven Moons Rising” is a bold, beautiful sculpture that combines this artist’s distinctive style with a finely sculpted Ashton-Drake doll.
As seven moons ascend toward the heavens on curling currents of sheer crystalline, they unite in an innovative design that tells the story of a hopeful maiden’s search for her one true love.
Sculpted and then cast in fine artisan resin, “Seven Moons Rising” is adorned with faux suede, beading and real marabou feathers for a look of graceful realism. And every detail is painted by hand, from her passionate expression to the pool of water and jagged rocks at her feet.
